Fantastic restaurant hidden away in leadenhall market. Food was prepared to such a high standard and tasted fresh. Ordered the baby octopus for starters which was delicious. The portion size was good and they were very generous with the octopus. This came in a tomato sauce which was spiced perfectly. For my main, I ordered the monkfish with asparagus and again, this was cooked really well. I will definitely be returning

Had such a nice experience at Osteria Del Mercato! I loved the location inside Leadenhall Market and the restaurant itself is modern and cozy. The 2 ladies working were so awesomely friendly and nice - and the food was good too! Will definitely come back again!

Very nice restaurant with a cozy decoration. The staff made us feel very comfortable throughout the dinner, always pending on our requests and helping us to choose. The food was delicious, right on the cooking point and the presentation was flawless. A really good value for money. I'll definitively come back.

Once you've navigated the stairs :-) a really lovely ambience with authentic Italian food. I had the Tortellini with Truffle - very delicious.

I came here using the Fork offer. The food was really delicious and filling. The arancini (chef's special) were to die for! The staff were lovely and helpful. It does get a bit loud when it's busy as the tables are quite close together in the small space but I had a lovely time.

A really nice, intimate restaurant but you also get the buzz of Leadenhall market which is great. The food was delicious - have no criticism whatsoever. It’s not cheap but I was happy to pay the higher prices for a place this great

Very enjoyable experience! Visited for my partner's birthday on the 16th of August. I'd emailed a few days before to ask that the staff could add a candle to my partner's tiramisu (I knew she'd go for that!) They remembered and the lady very discreetly caught my eye to get the okay since I'd said my partner was a bit shy. Both meals were excellent, tasted great and well presented.The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and the restaurant itself was lovely and intimate, above the shops in Leadenhall Market providing a great view of the street below. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable, intimate dining experience in the city area. George.

Gem of a restaurant in Leadenhall Market. A little difficult to spot the entrance intially, but once you climb the rather steep, narrow staircase, the restaurant is welcoming and cosy. Staff are so friendly and the food is ridiculously good. Carpaccio di Manzo and Tortelloni are to die for. Nice selection of very good wines. Food menu is not huge, but is very much a case of 'less is more'. Will certainly go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
